Tamara’s greatest passions are music and teaching. She began solo singing in elementary school and aspired to be on Broadway, performing in community theatre venues around Atlanta. She attended USC’s School of Music and graduated with a Bachelor of Music Education and Vocal Performance Certificate. It was at USC where she discovered the joy of teaching music and decided to continue her studies to receive a Master’s of Music Education.
Tamara enjoys singing music of all genres. During her time at USC she was a member of Cocktails Female Acapella group, USC’s Concert Choir, and performed in various USC Opera productions.
Tamara has provided music instruction at Columbia College, St. Peter’s Catholic School, St. John’s Episcopal Church, and led a teacher workshop at the Culuco School in Honduras. She is the current music development specialist at Round Top Elementary School and cherishes the one-on-one instruction time at Freeway Music.
