For over eight years, Ben Campbell has been actively singing and playing guitar in and around Columbia, SC. A former student of Freeway Music, Ben studied under great instructors like Don Russo and Michael Atwater while he developed his craft and became increasingly involved in Columbia’s music scene.

He is now the frontman of his own blues-rock band, Bull Moose Party, as well as the lead guitarist for the local Celtic-rock band, Syr. Ben is also a prolific acoustic singer/songwriter, with a solo recording project underway.

Stylistically, Ben is most influenced by the genres of rock, blues, folk, bluegrass, and country, but he has a wide appreciation of all types of music. He is an enthusiastic teacher, and possesses a deep passion for guitar and performance that he hopes to imbue in all of his students.
