Vira Adams
Hello! My name is Vira Adams. I was born in Ukraine and have lived in the United States for about 12 years with my family. I have three wonderful kids, ages four, seven, and nine. I started playing violin when I was 7 years old. I fell in love with the music and the instrument and have not stopped playing since! I perform in several orchestras around the state and other live music gigs when I can. When I am not teaching private lessons, you can find me gardening, reading, drawing, and being in nature (when it’s not TOO hot).
I have been teaching violin and viola for over 15 years. I love to help my students reach their musical goals. I have several students currently in the Youth Philharmonic Orchestra. My teaching style balances the fundamentals of violin technique, sound production, and performance with the goals and preferences of each student. I believe that the beautiful gestures of good violin technique lay the groundwork for beautiful sounds and inspiring performances in all styles of music. I am excited to help YOU find joy and happiness in playing your instrument!
Vira currently teaches Fridays and Saturdays at Freeway Music Northeast.
