Anna Flynn is a recent graduate of the University of Tennessee where she received her Master’s degree in Vocal Performance. There, she performed operatic roles, taught classes as a graduate assistant, and was the vocal winner of the Concerto Competition in which she performed with the University of Tennessee Symphony Orchestra.
Anna is a native of Miami, FL, but spent most of her time in Atlanta, GA. She grew up with musical parents and has been immersed in that world ever since she was born. Her mother is a voice teacher, and her father was an accomplished pianist and orchestral conductor. Anna started singing and playing the piano from a young age, and continued both studies into her undergraduate degree. She attended the University of South Carolina where she received her Bachelor’s degree in Vocal Performance.
In between Anna’s undergraduate and graduate studies, she taught piano and voice for Freeway Music for two years. She was able to further hone her teaching abilities and has had students that have gone on to pursue music in college. Now, she is back living in Columbia and couldn’t be more thrilled to help young men and women realize their musical goals and aspirations!
