Katie's students have been working hard all semester and are excited to present their winter recital at The Presbyterian Communities on Davega Drive.

Freeway Music's theater program, directed by Mari Hazel, is performing Beauty and the Beast on December 8. Students have been working all semester to put on this complex and compelling musical for you! Come and support these amazing students.

Kristin Harris and Ryan Knott will have their duel strings recital at Curiosity Coffee Bar! Come enjoy great snacks and amazing music while your supporting all students participating! 

We're so excited to be involved in the Blythewood Christmas Parade again! On the route straight through Blythewood, South Carolina, our float will have live music from our fantastic students and instructors. Watch out for our elves too as they will be passing out candy and gift certificates for lessons!

Northeast Rockband, Stampede, will be performing at the Race Against Hunger. A 10k 5k and 1 mile fun run benefiting the Lexington Mission.

Freeway Music has teamed up with SceneSC to host four local regional songwriters the last Tuesday of each month. Songwriters take turns playing one song each through 4 rounds. This month we will feature Adam Corbett, Catie Galan, Jody Jackson, and Phil Hurd.

We're so excited to announce that Mellowdrama, a northeast rockband, will be performing for tailgaters on November 9th for the game against Appalachian State! Get ready for some throwback tunes and great times at the Official USC Football Tailgate! Exact performance time TBA.

The more the merrier! We have 3 of our voice/piano studios joining forces to present their winter recital. Details TBA.

This month's uke jam is a holiday edition. Jessica Skinner will lead a group of uke players in some holiday classics.

Our rock bands will be at the annual MGC Longrun downtown Columbia on February 1st. At different corners of the race, our students will be keeping the runners going with some great music!

Freeway Music students will join the Old Mill Brew Pub and the Lexington County Blowfish for the Lexington County Chili Cook-Off. All proceeds benefit local charities. Tickets are $10.

Jessica will be leading a beginner session from 6:30-7pm, followed by the group jam from 7-8pm. All Ages and All Skill Levels are welcome! If you've never played in your life, you can still come and have a good time! If you need a ukulele, feel free to borrow one of ours for the jam.

Freeway bands Stampede and Ramblin' Road will be playing at the Rib Cookoff at the Palmetto Citizens Amphitheater.

Student Matt Hallman, teacher Jackson Kemp, and Tyler & Joelle(former Freeway teacher) will be playing music to raise money for Camp Cole.

Mari Hazel and Alyssa Anstey will be having their duel piano/voice recital on May 30. These students have been working so hard all semester on their music. Please come out and support them! Location TBA

Come on out to the 2nd annual Blythewood Oktoberfest to check out our rockbands while you peruse through some delicious food and drink! Southern Six Strings, Stampede, and Wrong Side of the Tracks are excited to be playing music throughout the afternoon. This event is scheduled under COVID-19 protocol guidelines and attendance will be limited.
