We partner with hospitals, foundations, local schools, senior living facilities, charities, races, events, fundraisers, and more.
Foundations/Charities We help raise money and awareness for, as well as perform for, many causes and local charities. Here are some charities with whom we have partnered: The Conner Foundation, The Palmetto Children’s Hospital, Harvets Hope, The Women’s Shelter, Pets Inc, Pawmetto Lifeline, Trustus Theatre, Girls Rock Columbia, The Hootie Foundation, The South Carolina Philharmonic, and more!
Establishments We hold events at local establishments and drive a lot of business to our local economy at such places as: The British Bulldog, The Old Mill Brew Pub, Wild Wing Cafe, Drip Coffee, The Peanut Man, Tin Roof, Music Farm, Social Bar and Grill, Beef O Brady’s, Delaney’s Music Pub and New Brookland Tavern, and many more!
Schools We donate lessons for silent auctions and hold performances to support schools, such as: Bethel Hanberry Elementary, St. John Newman, Heathwood Hall, The University of South Carolina, Columbia College, Blythewood High School, Irmo High School, St. Andrews Middle School, and many more!
Clinics/Camps Camps and clinics are a great way to offer our students and community supplemental education and inspiration. Some of our past clinicians and camp partners include: Bobby Hatfield(Seawolf Mutiny), Jeremy Sakovich(Postcard Fiction), Andy Wood(Lead Guitarist of Rascal Flatts), Archer Avenue Recording Studio, Sims Music, Guthrie Trapp, JD Simo, Danielle Howle and many more!
Events We strive to support, volunteer, and provide entertainment for local events. Some of the events we have supported in the past include: The Blythewood Christmas Parade, The Festival of Trees, Rooftop Rhythms, The Sparkleberry Country Fair, St. Patrick’s Day Parade, WXRY Unsigned, The Freeway Music Festival, Palmetto Christmas, Can Jam, The MG&C Long Run, The Heart and Sole Run, Get in the Pink Race, Blythewood Thanksgiving Souper, The First Flush Festival, Vista Lights, First Thursdays on Main, The Palmetto Peanut Boil, The Southeastern Piano Festival, and many more!
Freeway Music Scholarship
Freeway Music partnered with The Christopher Conner Foundation to create The Friends Grant to help students that can’t afford music lessons.
