Adam is a Columbia native, whose interest in music began very early in life. He started playing guitar at the age of twelve and after originally being self-taught, he began studying under Freeway Music Ballentine/Irmo Founder, Drew Medlin. Since then, he has played all over the state in bands such as Emory Lane, The Liquid Hustle, Funky Junk, Blackbeard’s Truck, and most recently Dead Swells. Adam’s style of playing is mainly inspired by genres such as blues, jazz, and rock. He strives to help all of his students meet their personal goals while maintaining a fun and relaxed teaching atmosphere.

Adam currently teaches on Mondays and Tuesdays at Freeway Music Irmo/Ballentine and Wednesday through Friday at Freeway Music Lexington.
