Braden Cox is a drum instructor for Freeway Music.  He has been playing drums since he was 10 and is passionate about sharing his joy and expertise with his students.  He has been teaching for the past three years and says “nothing makes me feel more alive than when I get to witness a student make a breakthrough when they are doing something they love!”  In addition to teaching, Braden is currently studying under Carter McLean, current drummer for The Lion King on Broadway and one of the premier drum instructors in the United States.

Braden is also the drummer for Gateway Baptist Church’s worship band, and he also plays professional gigs throughout North and South Carolina.

Anyone who has met Braden can tell you that his unique blend of sense of humor and seriousness about music make him fun to be around and a great motivator.
