Emily Bell
Emily Bell is a multi-instrumentalist and singer from Camden, SC. She is currently a graduate student in Vocal Performance at the University of South Carolina. She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from UofSC with an emphasis in classical guitar, where she also studied voice, piano, and organ.
Emily has performed as a classical soloist and opera singer internationally. Most recently, she performed the alto solo in Mozart’s Requiem in Verona, Italy. Her favorite genre is sacred choral music.
As a guitarist, she specializes in acoustic and classical music. She has been playing fingerstyle acoustic guitar for many years and loves to arrange pop songs for solo guitar.
As a teacher, Emily is comfortable with students of all levels. Previously having taught elementary and middle school, she has taught a wide range of ages. Emily has a lot of experience teaching students with learning disorders such as dyslexia.
Emily currently teaches at Freeway Music Downtown Columbia (Forest Acres) on Wednesdays.
