Zandra Harring
Zandra Harring is a voice and piano instructor. For twenty years, Zandra has either been performing, or educating students from three years of age to eighty plus years. Zandra graduated from the University of Arkansas with a Bachelor of Music Degree in Education, with an emphasis in voice. While attending college Zandra had the opportunity to perform with her university choir, Schola Cantorum, under the direction of Dr. Graeme Langager, at the St. Peter’s Basilica in Vatican City, Italy for a High Mass service. Zandra also had the opportunity to perform in the french opera, “Cendrillon” known as “Cinderella” while she attended the university.
Over the past ten years Zandra’s focus has been educating students, either in the classroom, or in individual lessons. Through private instruction, Zandra has had experience in training students for a variety of performances and events, from musicals to pageants. One student became overall talent winner in the Miss South Carolina Teen Pageant. Zandra’s music teaching philosophy is to help each student find and develop their true voice, to set a foundation & equip them with the skills they will need to pursue the genre & style of their choice.
