General Info:

Students from Freeway Music Northeast (Blythewood) will be performing Sunday, May 19th, 2024 at The Senate in Downtown Columbia! This year’s theme is “Into The Wild” (songs and artists with an animal theme).

Date: Sunday, May 19th, 2024

Time: 1:00 PM – 6:00 PM

Location: *VENUE CHANGE to The Senate Columbia at 1022 Senate Street Columbia, SC 29201

Event Entry: FREE (Invite all of your friends and family!)

Participation Fee: $25/ performer ($15/performer for families with multiple performers)

Other Details:

We will have David Walters Photography from NC as our photographer. Those photos of performers will be made available to families within a few weeks of the performance. We will not have a videographer, so feel free to get up close to take videos of your kiddos & friends!

There is no official “check-in” however we encourage you to arrive tuned up and ready to go approximately 15 minutes before your set starts. We also encourage participants to stay and cheer on the performers after them, if at all possible. We love for each performer to be able to feel the energy of a full audience!

The emcee will encourage performers to head back to the left of the stage two songs prior to theirs, where there will be a tuning station for them to gather at. Then, one song prior to theirs, performers should head up the stairs to the backstage area, where they will prepare to walk out to their mark on stage.
