Allwyn Edwards is a Greenville, SC, native who is finishing his performance jazz degree from the University of South Carolina’s percussion department. He is also an active member of the Columbia music scene, playing various gigs throughout the Midlands and Southeast, participating in various Jazz camps, etc.

Allwyn’s high school studies were at The Fine Arts Center of Greenville. The Fine Arts Center was established in August 1974 as the first specialized arts school in the state of South Carolina.

Allwyn is passionate about jazz music, reading, gardening, and hiking. He is excited to use his skills, combined with the music styles his students are passionate about, to help them grow as drummers.
