After graduating from Boston’s prestigious Berklee College of Music in 1979, guitarist Jerry Sims moved to Columbia, SC to open a teaching studio. Over the years, Sims Music would grow to become South Carolina’s leading musical instrument store. Along with running the store, Jerry can be seen performing locally with some of the state’s greatest musicians and has performed nationally with major acts such as Bucky Pizzarelli, Rita Coolidge, and many more.
