Wennie Rodriguez is a graduate student at the University of South Carolina Columbia with a focus in piano performance. They have been studying piano for fifteen years and graduated with a Bachelor’s of Music in Piano Performance along with a Performance Certificate for voice, graduating Summa Cum Laude.

Wennie has participated in the Southeastern Piano Festival held in Columbia, SC, and was on the young jury for the Arthur Fraser Competition. Wennie has competed in numerous piano competitions across South Carolina ranging from Charleston, Columbia, and Cincinnati. Wennie primarily studied classical music but is also proficient in playing and teaching pop songs and other popular pieces. Wennie aspires to become a performer in classical piano as well as incorporate her vocal training into the mix for audiences of any and all ages. Wennie works best with students who already have some piano experience. She excels in taking her students to the next level and refining their skills. She loves to work with students who have a passion for music (and if the student has a special place in their heart for classical music — it’s a plus!)
